There are only 18 days left on our Kickstarter campaign!!!!!

I am getting nervous now with so little time left ans still so much to do, Sultan's Library has done very well so far and there has been quite a lot of hype about it in our local board game community.
It has been very exciting to get the game out all over the world so that we could get reviews and feedback from so many different people, I really hope that we make our funding so that we can finish making the game.... I think it will be quite a different game from the one we have been using as a prototype for the last couple of months and the fact that I don't really know how different it will be is exciting!

I am alive!

I know it has been a very long time since I have done anything on deviant art and even longer still since I last did a journal entry; for those who might read this I am sorry.
I have been sucked into University work for the past year or so and have finally found some time to do a little art and stuff; I am trying to develop my skills as much as I can and am now learning to do digital painting. I am mostly doing portraits at the moment because I am comfortable with the human face but will soon be trying to move out of my comfort zone and do some landscapes or industrial designs

Finally!!!! Warm weather has arrived

It is weird though, i am already kind of wishing that it was not so hot.... Oh well, at least i can go swimming without
any fear that a body part will fall off.

I am watching Kimi ni Todoke at the moment and am loving it, if anyone out there knows of similar anime please let me know so i can add it to my ever growing collection.

I don't think anyone really looks at my journal so this is mostly for me I guess...
I have not done any art in sooo long, I find that my daily activities have become ritualistic:

breakfast
work
lunch
work
exercise/ skate
shower
supper
anime
sleep

I need to break this cycle up a bit before I stagnate completely and mosquitoes lay their eggs in me!!!
[I also have to put a portfolio together for university applications!!!!]
On the bright side I have to say that I feel a burning need to do some paintings again, the artist Carne Griffiths has inspired me to experiment on large mediums. I like to think that he and I enjoy similar aspects of art and it's creation....
time to improve my skills again!
